On our principal wargames blog, Legatus Wargames Armies, we always have a picture of a young lady in the sidebar who we are currently very much appreciating. Ladies, as well as model soldiers, having been a defining constant in the Legatus' life for over forty years.

Scott, from Middle Earth suggested that we should chronicle them in some way and so we have decided to add yet another blog to do exactly that!

Here is a picture of some lady soldiers from the Ukraine. They aren't models, they are from a proper military unit. We're not sure about the man trying to get a very low angle shot on the right. What could he be focussing on?
